Robert E. Tranquada M.D.

Bob Tranquada is professor emeritus of Medicine and Public Policy at the University of Southern California. A graduate of Pomona College and Stanford Medical School, his career in academic medicine included assignments as chancellor of the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and dean of the USC School of Medicine. He is a member of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences, holds honorary degrees from Pomona College and Worcester Polytechnic Institute and has served on many not-for-profit boards. He has been on the board since 2000.
